Tamil Nadu HRD Attestation

The HRD attestation for certificates issued in the state of Tamil Nadu is done by the state's Public Foreigners Department which is under the chennai secretariat. Under Secretary of the state is the signing authority of Tamil nadu HRD. University verification is a mandatory process for all the certificates submitted for attestation. The documents submitted to the department for attestation is forwarded to the issued University/Board for verification. The time consuming for this process would vary according to the university.

Documents Required:

Original Certificate that is to be attested (Educational Certificate).

Supporting Documents Required:

1. Original Certificates
2. Copies of all mark sheets or Consolidated marksheet
3. Copy of your Passport
4. Photo(2 No.)
5. Job offer letter copy (not mandatory )
6. Authorisation Letter

Duration:

Normally the time taken for attestation is 15 - 20 working days. But in the case of Madurai Kamaraj University ,Periyar University, Annamalai University & Technical Board Would take nearly 20 to 40 working days.

It is up to the authorities to accept or reject or delay the documents/process on submission of the same or thereafter in the course of process or even after the process.
